What "designations" to pay attention to when choosing a disk?

There is a storage system, it has 8 disks:
4 disks for 300G

Work
4 disks for 500G

Do not work. In the storage logs:
The command cannot be initiated because a drive that you have specified has a technology type that is not supported for the
command
SHD:

Off docum. not even about 500G (it turns out that it does not fit?)
As I understand it, it is necessary that the disk be SAS and the volume as from the table? Others won't fit?
On the disk itself, you can look / see / understand (new, not new disk) some designations and understand that it will fit? Poke your nose...

Any disk will not work. Only "branded" with firmware from IBM.
List of disks compatible with your storage system: https://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=ssg...
(Please note there are two lists: the first for the V3500, the second for the V3700)

Why do you need a subquery in where? You can replace it with inner join

@Draconian

IN is almost always slower than similar code with = or <>.
