Percona, I don’t have one that concerns: MySql = MariaDB (essentially the same thing).
MySql has a lot of support in programming languages.
PostgreSQL has slightly different capabilities, so it depends what you want to use it for.
PostgreSQL Often used among GeoCoders also has additional DataTypes (such as: Geometric data types).
for a simple WEB application, I would prefer MariaDB
