What could be wrong with gulp-svg-sprites not generating html with svg images?

Hello. I want to build a sprite from svg files. Followed this article . But it doesn't work. That is, the html file with symbols is not created. Here is my fiddle . There are no errors in the terminal. What could be wrong? thanks in advance

Now it seems to work. But in the html file there are not icons but text [object, object]. This only happens in mode: symbols. Similar topic on stackoverflow . But there was no solution either.
