What could be the reasons for the jump in Play Market installations?

We have an application (live wallpaper) was published on February 1, 2016, it did not arouse much interest among users and safely went into oblivion (1-2 installations per day), but on April 11 something strange happened and installations began:

No advertising campaigns I didn’t, I didn’t publish reviews anywhere, I didn’t do promotion in general, what are my thoughts about what could serve as such a jump in installations.
I thought that the error was in the developer panel, but the number of views of the video on youtube of this application also increased, i.e. this is not a mistake, but really such a jump in installations.

He asked, he answered. An advertising campaign was carried out by some unknown organization, and it led to such a jump in installations. Who it was and how much it cost could not be found out. How did you know? I found in the GP in the sources that the installations were made using UTM links.
