What could be the reason why Windows 8 does not want to boot from grub?
Hello. Today I decided to install Kubuntu 15.04 as a second OS. Windows 8.1 is installed on the SSD disk, kubuntu was installed on the HDD, having previously created a special partition for it. Now, when the computer boots, grub sees Windows, but when it starts, it returns me to the bootloader and nothing happens, while Linux itself loads without problems. Is it possible to solve the problem without reinstalling?
update-grub did, did not help.

Windows stopped loading because your markup has flown (a new section has appeared), as I understand it.
You must first boot from the disk with Win and restore the Windows bootloader. Then reinstall GRUB. Please note that if you change something in the markup again, it will not work.
Google "How to restore the Windows bootloader", you are fine with GRUB.
