What could be the reason for the error when creating a project in pycharm?

I'm trying to create my first project in the Pycharm development environment (I'm working on a Mac M1 percent), but I can't do it, after clicking on "create" it gives the following: "Failed to create virtual environment". (I put the Python version 3.8.10 before Pycharm)


It's also confusing that the base interpretor column indicates the old version of "usr/bin/python2.7" when creating the project, I tried to choose the newest "usr/bin/python3", after that he asks to install additional developer tools ..
I've been trying to deal with this problem for half a day, reinstalling the client, nothing helps. Tell me, please, what could be the problem?
