What could be the reason for the error in generating an XLSX file through PHPExcel?
I take an example of creating XLSX from the official PHPExcel documentation,
but I get an error and an empty document as a result
. I work in the webasyst plugin. What could be the problem?
I don't have any problems with excel.
// Create new PHPExcel object
$objPHPExcel = new PHPExcel();
// Set document properties
$objPHPExcel->getProperties()->setCreator("Maarten Balliauw")
->setLastModifiedBy("Maarten Balliauw")
->setTitle("Office 2007 XLSX Test Document")
->setSubject("Office 2007 XLSX Test Document")
->setDescription("Test document for Office 2007 XLSX, generated using PHP classes.")
->setKeywords("office 2007 openxml php")
->setCategory("Test result file");
// Add some data
$objPHPExcel->setActiveSheetIndex(0)
->setCellValue('A1', 'Hello')
->setCellValue('B2', 'world!')
->setCellValue('C1', 'Hello')
->setCellValue('D2', 'world!');
// Miscellaneous glyphs, UTF-8
$objPHPExcel->setActiveSheetIndex(0)
->setCellValue('A4', 'Miscellaneous glyphs')
->setCellValue('A5', 'éàèùâêîôûëïüÿäöüç');
// Rename worksheet
$objPHPExcel->getActiveSheet()->setTitle('Simple');
// Set active sheet index to the first sheet, so Excel opens this as the first sheet
$objPHPExcel->setActiveSheetIndex(0);

I propose to check the options:
1. Change the type of generated file from "Excel2007" to other available options.
2. Change the encoding of the php file. If UTF-8 is used, change to CP1251 or vice versa.
3. Try to execute the script with a different version of PHP
4. Try a different version of the PHPExcel library
5. Use an alternative library https://www.phpclasses.org/package/6279-PHP-Parse-...
open it in notepad, it looks like there is an error in the output buffer
