I'm trying to set up custom posts through the Pods plugin
Tried to do it according to this guide - Link
However, I could not connect the template, I created the taxonomy-name.php file, but the usual Index.php still appears on the post page

If you do "Types of publications" then the output will be in the file archive-name.php

Because custom posts are not taxonomy. This is a Custom post type, for them the archive-name.php and single-name.php templates
