Good afternoon friends. There was such a question. How to remove these garbage categories that no longer exist and leave only the necessary ones, for example /contacts, /reviews.
The description, as I understand it, is set in the meta tag, "description". If I'm wrong - correct me.

If you need to remove a category from the search results, then close its indexing in robots.txt or via the meta tag. But it will be more profitable for you not to throw out the garbage category from the index, but to change its url, and from the old garbage category url put a 301 redirect to some more useful page (to a "good and necessary" category).
Just in case, I’ll clarify that after your actions, you will have to wait for one or more updates until the changes appear in the search results.
