What could be the problem: "The network adapter does not have valid IP settings" (more in the table of contents)?

The case is rather strange.
The house has an access point. Everyone can connect to it: laptops, smartphones, tablets. Except one laptop (windows 7).
The case is strange, because until recently, he normally connected to this access point, but the next day, for no apparent reason, the following happens: he connects to the access point, but the connection takes longer than usual. The computer itself writes: "the connection takes longer than usual." And "limited access to the network."
When running connection diagnostics, it found: "The network adapter does not have valid IP settings." The IP address and DNS are set to automatically connect. Tried to manually register IP, subnet mask - the same result.
What could be the reason for this situation?

In most cases, this problem occurs due to a firewall or antivirus program (firewall).
If it's hard to set up, then turn it off or delete it.

Maybe someone will come in handy: There is such a thing as NPcap, check if it is in the system. Helped.
