What could be causing the pc to freeze?

OS: Windows 10 Pro
CPU: Intel Core i3-3220
RAM: 8GB ddr3 1600 MHz
Motherboard: HP Compaq Elite 8300 MT
Hard drive: WDC WD10EZEX-75WN4A0 (1TB, 7200 RPM, SATA-III)
Video card: Nvidia GTX 750
ti Problems: the PC began to freeze tightly at intervals of a couple of hours after launch, if a sound plays during the freeze, it plays for 3 seconds and then stops. There have never been such freezes on this system before.
It all started with updating Windows and swarming in the antivirus, as it did not allow a pirated game to run (it's definitely not a virus, the site was checked) I updated all the drivers. Did not help. Converted the HDD resource through utilities - all the rules. Aida 64 does not show any diode overheating
I think to pull out the rams and the video card in turn (to check if they are the reason). Tell me what else can be done?

@Zoominger

Download KVRT and CureIT and sequentially check the PC, first with one, then with the other.
Do sfc /scannow from the admin console.
Because here it is:

did not allow a pirated game to run (definitely not a virus, the site is verified)

tantamount to "I got up with cancer and lowered my pants."
