What config/hosting/solution would you recommend for a lightweight Mongo+Node+React (MERN/MEAN/MEVN stack) project?

Hello!

I have a small pet project that has finally been completed, and now it would seem that we need to make a release, but the local machine is no longer suitable for this, and the logical question arises: where?

I use:
MongoDB, the folder with which periodically grows up to 5GB, although sometimes (inside) according to Mongo Compass, it sometimes stores data for 50+ GB. JS+node LTS+react (and optional :
neo4j)

the question of payback hosting is not worth it.
Traffic will not be attracted, i.е. the maximum number of visitors is "me and my friends". Numerical data is stored in the database, beautiful charts and graphs are drawn on the client.

  • Who will advise what? The problem is that I am a newbie in the search for hosting and the variety of configs. Looked at solutions from Amazon/Microsoft Azure/Google Cloud. But I do not quite understand what and how it works. How to calculate consumed traffic?
  • How much RAM will all this require? I have 8GB of memory + (Optane Memory) on my local machine, 70% of which is consumed by the database, apparently not because it really needs so much, but because it can. But is 2GB RAM enough for this config?
  • I heard that the base itself can be stored separately, and the backend without the base can be stored separately. What is Mongo Atlas, in which it spins and the backend connects to it remotely. Has anyone used this? What is it and how does it work?
  • Or is it enough just to buy a VPS / VDS config with a margin, deploy everything there and let it “spin by itself”?

In general, I thank everyone in advance for your answers and am ready to discuss the topic.

@Buchachalo

Start at $1. If you resist, raise the tariff, everything is done in a couple of minutes.
