What cms to use for knowledge base of RPG games (MMORPG)?

What do you mean by knowledge base?
- if these are articles that users themselves add, then you need a discussion. There is a forum or wiki.
- if these are articles that you / the author add, then it is best to build a CMS for yourself. I would do it on wordpress with custom types/taxonomies.
- if this is a description of locations, objects, then any framework or the same WP with custom ones.
In general, it is better to take both. Here is an example irowiki.org

You can put it on WordPress (if in several languages, then with the free PolyLang plugin).
WikiMedia, I don't know if you'll keep the original theme or make your own.
