What cms to choose for a landing page with a portfolio?
For example, the site video-sfera.ru (there may still be jambs in development) and not a landing, although there is something from it and not so big, 5 pages, a portfolio of clients, 2 forms sent by email. You need to give the client the ability to edit the portfolio, partners, contact information and a couple of blocks of text.
I didn’t find any cms satisfying 4 seemingly simple requirements:
- not a monster (bitrix, modx, worpress, drupal, joomla disappear, their interface is too cumbersome, almost everything that is there does not apply to the site itself and the content on it);
- editinplace or another option for convenient visual editing of content;
- the ability to install on shared hosting (i.e. without a bunch of dependencies for php.ini editing composers, etc.);
- the ability to quickly create and expand your entities (like infoblocks in Bitrix), for example, a portfolio (name, description, video player code, preview image) and so that in the admin panel for the content manager it is called "portfolio" and not some "Octo Case" ";
Now done on octobercms wrote 3 separate modules "About Us", "Clients", "Portfolio", each with its own fields in the database. To add a field, for example, the site address, you need to rewrite and reinstall the module. Not that it's super laborious... but why would I need a content management system then?
What cms would you use given the restrictions for a site of this type?

https://anchorcms.com/ - simple as three pennies

complicated tinyadmin.net - too simple and paid, but in some cases suitable
Well, if you have your own requirements for LP, why not develop your own? Now there are so many different fireworks, you can at least blind something, Is that what you need for a normal LP?
Block editor (About us, Clients, Portfolio, etc.)
Gallery
Services and goods
Feedback
And already the main role is played by the template itself. There is nothing super complicated about this. Develop a similar "working" LP for a couple of days, for example, on Yii
And not only develop, but also modify, do not poke around in other people's half-crutches, especially in CMS plugin modules, time is more expensive.
For such a task, Wordpress is quite suitable. He's not a monster at all. A bare installation and 2-3 of your own types of material (portfolio, etc.) can be a module, you can shove it into functions.php.
For example, a type of material was created topclinic.org/doctors divided by departments, links between doctors from one department topclinic.org/doctors/professor-gideon-goldman , etc. Everything in the admin panel is clear, not a big instruction and the client is happy as an elephant.
In principle, what you described made from a template on html5 itechsrv.ru
And write a portfolio and place videos for 5 seconds, why bother with cms then.
Templates cost $13 on average
