What chipset does the DAP-1155 REV.B1 router have?
Please tell me, I have a d-link 1155 rev.B router.
Nowhere can I find information on its chipset. They are identical with d-link 1155 rev. Huh?
Just the only difference between these revisions:
D-Link DAP-1155 revision Ah, in a black case (old). AP mode and bridge (client), antenna cannot be removed
D-Link DAP-1155 revision B1, in a white case, (new) AP mode and router. CLIENT (bridge) cannot work. The antenna is removable.
I have this router in access point mode. Once every 2-3 days, wifi is cut off and it needs to be rebooted, or in the web face, pull the slider. I installed the latest firmware 2.0.10 - it did not help. I suspect that this is some kind of d-link'a function to save energy by turning off wifi and forgetting to turn it on when a connection is required.
Now I read that it is possible to flash firmware from dd-wrt from DIR-600 (DIR-300) to REV.A1. And nothing is said about REV.B anywhere.

s0ci0pat - they are not identical.
CaptSmile - you are misleading people, about your link d-link dap 1150 and not 1155 - be careful, they have different hardware - you can turn your router into a brick.
Chvalov - you are unlikely to be able to flash dap 1155 with dd-wrt firmware today, dap 1155 has an RTL8196C chip, so far no firmware has been released for it.
There is information on openwrt, https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=31551
If you can assemble from raw materials - unsubscribe, it will be interesting)
PS - I flashed my dap 1155 rev A with the latest firmware from the manufacturer - the flight is normal.
Well, how is there any success in the firmware ??
Because I also run every day to another room to reload, and sometimes the web face does not load
