What causes the built-in speaker on a MacBook to wheeze?

Recently, the right speaker on my MacBook has started to wheeze. Model: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014). I used to watch movies at full volume and music. Is there a way to restore it at the lowest cost?

Speakers sometimes break, most often when listening to music loudly. It’s not mega expensive to replace, it makes no sense to repair (change the speaker separately, leaving the column case).

I had this, and the problem turned out to be not in the dynamics, but in the speaker controller on the motherboard. Can't figure it out without a service. And this problem entails the subsequent breakdown of both speakers.
