What can you tell about LinkedIn?

Share your experience using LinkedIn.
1. How much do you use it?
2. Is it worth translating the profile into English: description, about yourself, skills, etc.?
3. How quickly did you manage to find a customer or a permanent job: remote and in the office?
4. How realistic is it to move to another country?
5. Is it enough to just indicate that I am considering vacancies from other countries? Or is there a checkmark in front of the relocate item somewhere?

1. Years 5
2. Naturally
3. I didn't look for it. But they write to me all the time.
4. Jobs with relocation arrive periodically.
5. Hunters don't care. What vacancy they have, then you will be offered.
Signed up on LinkedIn just to be. Added as friends all colleagues and acquaintances. Completed a profile. Specified skills. Colleagues improved my skills.
I never looked for a job there, but they immediately started writing HR's to me. Then they bugged me and I wrote in a big profile that I was not looking for a job and do not write at all with a salary below $50/hour. They began to write less often, but they did not stop completely. Now they write every couple of weeks. Jobs are very good. And relocation. And visa assistance. And social package + car + housing. A bunch of everything. Senior level full stack.

You - it's not real, still swing and swing.
I do not quite agree with the above Sanes - if you are aiming somewhere in Europe or the Freest, then you need no less than a senior.

Years 5. I didn’t specifically look for work, but she found me herself.
As a result, he moved to Moscow and after 1.5 years began to receive 4 times more than in his own, not even Muhosransk.
Now they periodically write HR, offer, including with relocation, but so far I'm not going anywhere.

1. I used it for three years, after blocking the RKN I don’t use it - I didn’t really need it, I registered just for fun.
2. Why?
3. Didn't look for a job. I signed up purely for fun, filled out a CV, wrote down my skills, found friends - and there were a lot of them, they also confirmed my skills, wrote about myself, about work, about publications ... The Hunters began to write almost immediately, it was interesting to talk with some. ..
4. You - not at all realistic. Well , they don’t take juniors to a remote location , how many times have they written about this! Yes, and in the office - who did you rest against, bother about relocation?

Didn't find what you were looking for?
