What can replace the i3-3220?

Hi friends.

I have such a pebble i3-3220 in my son's monoblock. monoblock for almost 10 years. today I changed the thermal paste and thought if it was possible to put something fresher instead of it without changing the candy bar itself. So that at least these all sorts of minecraft slow down less. I don’t particularly rummage in iron, so I’m asking for your advice. What will fit in the same slot?

You need to move from your budget, and just in case, check what the motherboard supports.
You have an Ivy Bridge processor with socket LGA 1155 (FCLGA1155).
It's also worth looking at the prices. i7s can still be outrageously expensive.
Start by checking how much the i5-3550, i5-3570, and i5-3570K cost, for example. It is quite possible that they will have a better speed/price ratio.
Just in case, also look at how much it costs, for example, i7-3770.

Replace the hard drive with an SSD, if the design allows it without any problems, and look for the i7 processor at flea markets for your socket, taking into account the cooling system.

Check out the manual for the mat. board (mandatory), it is not rare that older models do not support processors higher than the n-model.
