What can I do to make the eyes on the retina of the laptop less strained?
Hello!
On the macbook retina in browsers, the black text color of the pages for my vision is very contrasting and strains my eyes (although my vision is 1). It is important to make the text of the pages so that the eyes do not strain, perhaps the gray color will help. Although there are suspicions that this is a feature of the retina display, since on the matte TN + film the eyes feel great with 10 hours of work a day.
I tried in the Safari Settings in the "Add-ons"-> "Style Sheets" tab to set the gray color through the css file as follows, nothing came of it:
* {
color: # 39464E;
}
Googled this question for an hour and alas, I did not find anything.
Does anyone know how to win?
Thank you for your help!

Thus, you override the standard font color, but in 99 percent, probably, each site specifies its own color for all text and for individual blocks through classes, and they have a higher priority.
Just try to play around with the brightness and contrast of the monitor and that's all
Isn't it easier to just experiment with the brightness and contrast of the monitor?
In general, it is very strange that the problem occurs on the retina screen, and not vice versa. I have an Air with a TN-matrix and Retina 15", and it's noticeably easier on the second eye. Regarding the question, you can try the following:
1.
Turn the settings in the Accessibility options, but it seems that the contrast increases.
settings of the display.It will make the screen warmer.After 10-20 minutes, the eyes no longer notice the yellowness, it seems that the white color is white, but the eyes may feel better.The effect is similar to the effect of computer glasses with yellow
lenses.3.Try use these same computer glasses, choosing the right lenses.In theory, they should relieve fatigue from the eyes.I used a lot at one time, before I switched to a retina-screen.
4. Try to calibrate the monitor in accordance with the wishes or download ready-made profiles, maybe one of them will fit better than the standard one.
But if you switched to a retina screen recently, maybe it's just a matter of habit, because. I have not yet seen a screen better and more pleasing to the eye (poor vision).
