What can be used to make an unattended IP camera viewing system?

Good afternoon,
I naively believed that most people under the age of 50 came across a PC. It turned out I was wrong. When the guards pointed to the mouse and asked me what it was and why the buttons and the wheel were needed on it, and at the phrase: let me down and press "OK"; picked up the mouse from the table and began to drive it in the air, I realized that arming the PC was a bad idea.
I tried to look for an iron solution that will simply display the image on the monitor without unnecessary manipulations. I did not find this. But I had a question: What if I buy a simple NVR for 8 cameras and duplicate the cameras I need there. He will not write, but only view. Then doubts crept in whether it would conflict with the main device.
Tell me who thinks about it?

NVR + monitor can just be put on guard, and the NVR is already connected via the network with another PC, if necessary. Then the guards will not need either a keyboard or a mouse, the NVR will show everything itself, and it will also be possible to duplicate recordings on a remote PC.
