What can be practiced to work with branded servers?

When you need to deal with software or the operation of the OS, it is usually not a problem to deploy a virtual machine on your home PC and play around to figure it out and remove it. When it comes to RAID, IPMI, bios shell or other hardware-like settings, the problem is to play around to improve your skill. Of course, there is a combat server at work, on which there is all this in an already configured form, and of course no one will allow you to do experiments on such. Of course, it doesn’t make sense to buy home something that will simply lie in the future, and there is usually enough money for a server at the enterprise level, and it’s absurd for an admin to buy a home server without a specific goal. Hence the question, are there any emulators / simulators that allow you to play around with similar things that are close to hardware? I read manuals, but our practice is everything.

Did not met. Experience with HP/Dell/Supermicro servers is a separate item in the CV, because imho you can get it only if you have a "server that you don't mind". In a large office, it is usually not a problem to find such a server - servers become obsolete morally rather than die physically.
(Actually, this is how I gained experience - when I came to work in one office, they said - we recently changed the host, take the old host and learn from it, so that you don’t mess with the new one later :) )

Old servers are usually thrown out without sparing or sold for a fairly small amount.
Try to search the Internet on ad sites, maybe you will find something for free, maybe someone just doesn’t want to throw away the server, but rather give it to an interested person.
