What books should a beginner in information security read?

Good evening everyone. I am a first year student in Information Security. I want to begin to comprehend the basics of this sphere, to understand, read, understand. Recommend books on IB. In addition, I would be interested in reading books on some specific topics (for example, a book about Linux OS, or Network Administration). I would also like to read your experience of getting acquainted with this profession and how you learned something new about it. Thank you all in advance and wish you a productive evening!

Well, the only "book" on information security is the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation :)
As well as a rich set of industry standards
