How to change port from 8080 to 80 (jboss, linux)?

Day of good time.
Googled a lot of examples of this action, but the problem is the following - they all contradict each other and only partially solve the problem.
Are there concise ways out of the situation?

I would advise using nginx proxy.
Iptables is kind of cruel.

If it does not run under root, then in Linux it is forbidden to use ports below 1024 for non-root, that is, you need to set which Apache proxy or nginx proxy thread.
