What books are there on networking?
Hello, advise, please, books on network technologies. So that you can understand how IP addresses are divided, why you need a gateway and a subnet mask.
I'm still completely zero in this, so it is advisable to indicate books where from small to large :)
Thank you.

T.Parker. TCP/IP. For professionals. 3rd edition. St. Petersburg-2004 (If you're lucky to find an early edition, it's better). Until I read this book, I did not fully understand what networks are. There are some great chapters in this book that every system administrator should know as "Our Father". There are also complex chapters in this book, the understanding of which comes with age.
Perhaps not quite the same, but Yandex has a YouTube channel on network technologies (and not only). Lectures are more helpful
If at a superficial level, then read " Computer Networks " by Kuzin A.V. If "we need to go deeper" - " Computer Networks. Principles, Technologies, Protocols " by Oliferov.
There is also a wonderful series of articles - Networks for the smallest . It was interesting to read it myself, as well as several acquaintances found a lot of useful things in them. I also recommend taking a look
