What book to read to organize knowledge about Java?

I write in Java for Android, but have not read a single Java book to the end. I would like something without extra water like Eckel (Schildt and Horstmann are too big, in my opinion), probably, but fresher. Preferably without Java EE, Swing and the like, because I don't need it. Although, I would read about Java FX.

At the moment I'm studying Java using the book by Kay Horstmann, Gary Cornell "Java. Professional Library. Volume 1" , before that I worked with C ++. I can say that the book is super, without water and unnecessary chewing for beginners. There are several chapters on Swing and related, but they can be skipped.
I don’t know, however, how much the book will suit someone who already has experience in Java development, but in my case it’s excellent.

Ordering knowledge requires practice, not additional knowledge.
