What book to read on electricity?

Advise someone who did not understand anything at school. I'm learning about arduino now and would like to understand what's going on. I want to know what the current strength is, etc. (to understand where it comes from and what it is for), otherwise I’m tired of poking with a multimeter and not understanding anything. And when to connect it in series, and when in parallel.

I was very praised for the book "Borisov V.G. - Young Radio Amateur (1992)", they said that the basics were chewed there in great detail. Alas, due to lack of free time, I did not have time to get acquainted with this literature. But since the person who recommended this book to me is a professional in radio electronics, I advise you to read this book first.

I advise you not to read books, especially Russian ones! There are almost never any explanations on the fingers - and this is exactly what you need at the very beginning. You can read the book when you already know what current strength is and where to stick a multimeter to measure it.
At the very first stage, training slides or videos on YouTube are very suitable - though most of them are in English, but now there is nowhere without English.
Also, the simplest query in Google "what is voltage and current" gives these links: https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/voltage-curre... - there, by the way, there is a link about the multimeter at the bottom.
