What book on algorithms would you recommend?
I know Java very well, I'm going to program for android soon. But there is a small problem - everything is bad with algorithms. At first I thought about reading Sedgwick or Laforet, but they have huge books, and I don’t want to get hung up on this topic too much. Then he began to read a small but very understandable book - Grokkaem Algorithms. But damn, everything is in python, I taught python myself, although the author writes that everything can be understood by those who know other languages, but it’s somehow easier for me in Java. But the material in this book comes across superbly. Can you advise me some book on algorithms for beginners, so that the material is also easily heard; the book is no more than 300 pages and it was with Java examples.

I highly recommend this book.
Big, thick. very visual structures with algorithms and parsing. On Java. A bunch of tasks
And this series. Simple and easy, but good:
A. Bhargava "Groaming Algorithms. An Illustrated Guide for Programmers and Curious People"
