What audio English language courses to download/buy?
Good afternoon,
tell me, what audio courses for learning English can you recommend to download / buy?
Current language level - intermediate
I want courses in Russian, the goal is to learn more idioms, phrasal verbs, grammatical constructions.
I don't want courses where "repeat after the announcer", as I will only listen.

Firstly, I highly do not recommend courses in Russian. Disrupts thinking. You need to break the barrier - start thinking in English. If there is half in Russian, half in English, it doesn't work that way.
When the barrier breaks, it's an amazing feeling. It can be described, something like this: before that, all the time when you heard "Red", you thought it was "Red". After breaking the barrier, you hear "Red" and understand that it is "Red". Red is not red, it's red :). It's hard to explain, but something like this :).
Essentially: I recommend the Power English course by AJ Hoge.
Listened in the car on the way to work, an hour a day.
In six months I raised my level from intermediate to fluent. I watch movies and courses without subtitles. I can easily understand interlocutors and speak easily.
The course is based on the approach "the key to the language is not the eyes, the key to the language is the ears".
The Pimsleur course is based on the same approach. But Pimsleur is boring. AJ Hoge is much more fun and doesn't get boring.
This course is not a dull repetition, but interactive - simple answers to simple questions.
You can get it here (or on the tracker):

There are even older courses by this author - Effortless English. There you can start from the beginner level and below.
Now somehow everything in YouTube and online has crawled from the format of audio courses.
And why with an intermediate level courses in Russian?
Forget about them like a bad dream and listen in English.
In YouTube, for example, you can look at engVid, very interesting lessons, I listen with pleasure,
even taking into account that my level is almost free. There are idioms, and grammar, and normal pronunciation, and not like Russian super-teachers.
Many more recommend TED. You can also watch your favorite movies with subtitles.
There are very good podcasts, for example: English funcast , you can learn a lot of new things.
What about the meaning? Without practical application - money down the drain.
