Please help Java or php to get started?
Good afternoon! I will describe everything quickly and clearly.
1. There was an opportunity to study at the academy (1 year of study every day from 9:00-15:00 study) and get junior documents. + 100% paid practice in European IT in the chosen profession. I also live in Europe.
2. You need to choose a language to learn PHP or Java. (The choice is between these 2 languages)
3. Languages (as I already understand it, I think) will be studied in depth (ie there are many hours of training and topics too.)
There is more of a bias here and there on the Web.
Frameworks are different, OOP and so on.
Goals:
1. You need to save money (earn money) for the profession that I dream of (not related to IT).
I ask IT sectarians to pass by and not condemn me for going to IT only for "money". This is my real chance to make my dream come true.

I am not a sectarian, but I have bad news for you - people like you are experienced HR and interviewers can be smelled a mile away, and the rest are fired during the first month, so it will not end in anything good.
On business - if you want a simple login - take php. If you take Java, then the brain will bend, so it will be hard to get out of IT - the logic will change, as will the values
A useless undertaking for the following reasons
0. You really don’t know if you want to work in that other area, because you have never been there
1. After spending 10 years of your life, then leaving everything and starting from 0 in another area, you will definitely get not what you imagine now
2. You can get it normally in any field and it always depends on your skills and experience
3. Having received money (if you get it) in 5-10 years you will no longer be able to force yourself to switch to 0 payment on that friend to a professional
Now, in fact,
Payment for different EPs at the level of a solid middle on any technology and EP varies within $ 100-500
Growth ceilings after 10-15 years of work differ slightly. But with such experience, the transition between PLs is carried out quickly.
But for you, such a horizon is not essential.
You called me as a specialist.
We must proceed from the needs and possibilities.
The areas of application overlap.
The advantages of PHP are a wider presence on the web (not only corporate and highload areas, but also startups), a more modern ecosystem, no problems with a license.
Advantages of Java - faster growth before June, more corporate sphere.
For a person without experience, I still advise Java to start. And then you can switch to PHP if you want (my case, for example).
Why not take a free introductory course in a couple of days on Coursera, Edx.org, Stepik.ru or just on YouTube in both languages and decide for yourself. I can’t imagine that you can study there for a whole year from 9 to 15 :)
If you learn a language every day for a whole year, then you can already write your own Java
A friend of mine studied in Germany, worked before that on a conveyor belt, and collected bikes. Works in a bank now, makes good money. For faster earning puff is better, for more earning better java, the whole enterprise sits on it. And in terms of complexity ... everything is the same, do not care what language or framework.
