Actually, subject. What do you use to send data from python to zabbix? Is it asynchronous? Does the function terminate immediately after the call to send data, or does it hang and wait for a response?
And in general, what are all application statistics based on?

Python scripts for zabbix are regular user scripts. Therefore, ordinary scripts are used that give data to the console.
