What are the ways to protect information on removable media?

I'm wondering what other ways to protect information on removable media other than file-level encryption, file system-level encryption, and disk-level encryption exist.

Removable media controller hardware encryption.
For example: www.kingston.com/ru/support/technical/products?mod...
In practice, it is very convenient - no administrator access is required on the computer to which you came with an encrypted flash drive.

Protecting information from what? From copying (leakage), accidental deletion, distortion?
If from copying (leakage) - the best way is not to use removable media.
Less radical and without the use of encryption tools is legal protection (we read laws on commercial and other types of secrets, prepare the necessary documents, agreements, explanations, extracts from codes and, accordingly, we are preparing to go to court for protection and prosecution).
