What are the ways to migrate Hardware RAID1 -> Software RAID1 to Debian7?

There is a server with two screws in RAID1 on the controller

LSI Logic MegaRAID SAS 9271-4i Kit, 4 ports SAS 6Gb/s RAID controller, LSI 2208, 1Gb cache, supported CacheVault (LSICVM01)/BBU (LSIiBBU09), RAID levels: 0,1,5,6,10,50,60, PCI-E x8 3.0, 1xSFF-8087 int, 1 cable included
. You need to get a hardware RAID controller out of it and start Software RAID.
Somehow I didn’t google instructions and how-carcasses right away, who has any experience, please share.

I solved the problem using an intermediate server and rsync:
rsync old_machine -> new_nachine
stop services on old machine
rsync old_machine -> new_nachine
networking setup on new machine
shutdown old machine
then reinstall debian on the old machine and repeat the procedure in the opposite direction.
Manuals for live migration of linux via rsync are abundant on the Internet.

Take new screws and migrate to them.
Well, if it’s risky to do it directly, then you hook one screw without a controller, make raid 1 on it and migrate partitions, then start from it, switch the first one and add it to the raid, the method is risky and threatens to lose data in case of incorrect actions.
