What are the utilities for dividing a monitor into multiple monitors (virtual drivers)?

Good afternoon everyone.
I don’t know how to correctly formulate a question in a search engine in order to get the necessary information, because these concepts are too vague and intersect with other similar split-screen requirements.
I know that there are such utilities, but mostly they are either slow (badly virtualized) or heavily paid (and I only have to play around for a start), but the last time I asked myself such a question was 5 years ago. So far I haven't found any progress.
In general, I want to divide the screen into two screens as plausibly as possible, so that the system (Windows XP-10) sees two or more instead of one monitor in the screen properties. That is, I do not need numerous software crafts that force the window output areas to be redrawn in strictly defined areas of the screen, but I need a driver utility that separates the monitor driver into two virtual monitors that fit on one screen.
Also, if you have 3 monitors, such a utility should be able to divide the total area of 3 monitors into another number of virtual monitors (that is, the division bar will be in the middle of the middle monitor).
In general, I hope I explained clearly. I am sure many people are interested in this topic, because. the method is as versatile as possible and can be useful for an infinite number of applications.
Applications:
- launch any full-screen game on one part of the monitor, and work in the browser on the other part, or program, as much as possible regardless of the game process.
- enable mirroring of the entire work process (for example, for CARDBOARD glasses).
The main goal is to make the screen division as hardware-based as possible, that is, when running two games (DIRECTX) on different monitors, there should be no conflicts and strong brakes. In general, it should look like on two completely different monitors.
There are monitor manufacturers that include the function of splitting the screen into multiple sources already in their own drivers (LG), but unfortunately I could not try it, because. there is no such monitor.
In general, I want to hear the experience of using such functions and who in what ways.
