I want to use touchscreen capabilities on modern laptops (OS - Windows 8) when developing an application in C#. How to organize their interaction with the application? What libraries to look/use?

For windows 8, you can use modern applications. They also support touchscreen. In addition, they are easier to port to mobile operating systems.
