What are the spam protection methods for Contact Form 7 in 2020?
Hello.
After reading various articles and reviewing a bunch of videos on this subject, the following picture emerged:
1) reCaptcha the link to the 2020 article is outdated , and besides, even if you use the checkbox with "Are you a robot?" this method does not always fit the style of the site. The 3rd version of reCaptcha is "invisible", but it does not always work + privacy suffers because of this.
2) HoneyPot learned to bypass.
3) Akismet can't be used to its full potential on my site.
4) Math-quiz (how much is 2+2?), the basic protection function of Contact Form 7, they write that the conversion suffers. Not everyone wants to write something when they just need to send a message.
5) This methodIt seemed to me a very interesting solution: the style of the site is not violated, confidentiality is also, bots (regular) JS have not learned how to bypass, everything is cool, but damn it turns out like this:
if you do everything as in the article, then this does not work and the message cannot be sent. The comments suggested the following solution , everything works great, but after the first successful send, the checkbox is ticked and that's it, the message can't be sent the second time.
Questions:
1) What are your methods of dealing with spam?
2) What can be done to make method 5 above work? $('.agree').prop('checked', false);
$('.agree').trigger('click');

google captcha. there is an add-on for this plugin right in the wp store just like the text is inserted
and when it doesn't help, then "how much will be 2+2*2"
Have a look here: https://oparin.info/web/zashhishhaem-contact-form-...
Similar to your example, but better at first glance.
