What are the solutions for the simplest thin clients?

Hello. Newbie in this matter.
Such situation. There is a self-written program for windows for the enterprise.
There is a need to put 3-6 terminals around the plant in the local network. (at the moment these are separate computers with full-fledged Windows, etc.)
Terminals! Since the employees are completely stupid in the computer, passwords, shortcuts, folders are not for them!
It is necessary that, after turning on the terminal, the program starts by itself, and it was impossible to poke anywhere else))
It is desirable that any PC could be used for the terminal, ala pentium 4.
What are the solutions? It is desirable for free)
I found such software WTware, it is paid, although it is cheaper. Sounds simple and easy.
But free options are interesting)
Thank you!

Simple and easy is not free.
If you want simple and easy - use WTware. If you want it for free - install a linux bootable via PXE with auto-connect via RDP to the server and auto-run when this program is logged in.

I did not understand what side virtualization is here. This is solved by setting up autologin and autorun in the OS, if desired, a daemon is written that kills all left processes and makes sure that the program is running. Already not one such terminal did.
