What are the solutions for a large number of CCTV cameras?

There is an object, it is planned to install about 60 cameras on it, in the future there is a possibility of increasing them. Are there any solutions for such a large number of cameras? Perhaps a server that receives data from IP cameras will be a good option?

It's not entirely clear what you want. It is not necessary to connect all cameras to one server. There can be many servers or DVRs, and data can be viewed from any computer. If you do everything right, then you can manage the entire system using one program.

In a personal, for example, I can tell you how to properly organize the whole thing. For free.
I can build and customize. Paid.
Write, I'll tell you how to implement on a couple of good products.

Sachala it is desirable to study the theory.
For example, read the book CCTV Bible. 3rd edition.
By the way, what is the category of the object? What configuration? What tasks need to be solved? If you need identification of people at the entrance, read this article , or if there are long corridors, then this one .

for 60 IP cameras I can offer two options - based on one server or based on two Line NVR recorders. First of all, it is necessary to clarify the functionality that will be in demand from the video surveillance system. Based on a video server, the solution will be more expensive than recorders, but it can be more finely tuned to your requirements - rack or classic, the number of HDDs that can be connected for storing archives, hot-swap capability, hardware RAID, the number of network connectors and other factors. On the basis of two NVR line recorders (the cost of two recorders is 79,300 rubles) you will receive 64 channels, while connecting from a client workstation to a group of registrars (multi-server support is supported on all Line products) you will receive the same functionality as if you connected to video server. In the future, to expand the number of cameras, it will be enough to purchase a registrar (there are solutions with a smaller number of channels) or a server, add it to a group on a client PC, and the operator will see all the cameras in a single interface. If you have additional questions, ask, I will try to help.
