I played enough with smartphones, I got tired of chasing the latest innovations, I decided - I need to take a regular phone. We need a solid device: the models 8800 and 8600 immediately came to mind. And in principle they are very good, except for one thing - the camera. The question itself is the possibility of replacing the native camera in these devices with a newer and more powerful module, at least 5 megapixels? I will also be glad to know if there are other phones using high-quality materials and good assembly at an affordable price (no more than 20 kilo rubles). Thank you all in advance!

In addition to the camera itself (peephole), it also has a controller (focus, "frame shooting", etc.), which is located on the phone's board and is often combined with an encoder / processor chip (mpeg, jpeg, ISO, etc.) IMHO task is difficult to solve.

I still don’t understand why you decided that you need a “regular phone” and why it should be an awesome camera and cost 20K. Share your thoughts and reasoning, it's interesting. In my head, there is no such logical sequence in which I get such requirements as an output.

If you need good autonomy, then you should pay attention to Motorola, they do not skimp on batteries. Even in the new thin DROID RAZR battery 1780 mAh, it is certainly not metal, but Kevlar also sounds solid).
There is also the same Atrix, it has 1930 batteries, if only as a dialer it can live for about a week, and at the same time, you can always use additional features if something happens. In general, I like that Motorola, unlike many other manufacturers, thinks about autonomy.
