What are the processor and video card responsible for in a computer?

In general, I buy an Apple computer, I have not yet decided which one.
I will use it mainly for working in Photoshop and Illustrator. Sometimes I play Dota2 :) The
question is, do I need to pay extra for an i7 processor for my needs, or will i5 fit?
And the second question, how much do I need a good video card in my case, if I buy, for example, a poppy mini, in which it is generally built-in?

i7 is not needed. given that you are taking a mac, you don’t have to worry too much - any with a discrete card from the current models will pull your needs.
