What are the possible development paths?

Welcome all. I ask you to help me navigate a little in the field of IT :) And, of course, I'm waiting for advice :)
I'll share my "anamnesis": I got on the path of programming late - at the age of 28, I had to take up a simple firmware for an AVR controller in C, after which I decided to delve into the field of programming ... I carried away the process itself. I didn’t really know where to start (it didn’t make sense to continue to understand MK at that job + I myself decided that I wanted something more high-level). On the advice of the only programmer I know, I went to study and deal with C ++ \ Qt, because. it was the only thread. YouTube, books, C++ courses. Free time at work, where most of the tasks were more of an administrative nature, poking around in programs, trying to write something. On the Internet, they scared a lot of this language, but within the framework of Qt, in my opinion, everything is greatly simplified. I decided to break through - put out a resume and still managed to get a job. What happened: XML parsing, working with the database, wrote a small module for synchronizing archives - at that moment I got acquainted with sockets, networks + streams. Then I wrote a viewer for this very archive, now it's busy with another GUI. They took it for 70 tr. in Moscow, from which I was even a little shocked, because. I thought that the amount would be much more modest - after all, a junior, with virtually no experience, self-taught. A few months later, the situation turned in such a way that the person to whom they took me to help (he is also a mentor) leaves this job and my position becomes somewhat unstable) I began to think about the vector of further development, from which a banal and, probably, stupid emerges anyway, a question for you: maybe targeting web or mobile apps is more promising? Or is the Qt \ C ++ bundle also doing quite well for itself, and is it generally too early to rock the boat? Why exactly web or mobile applications: the second seems interesting and tempting, but everyone talks about the first about a low entry threshold. I don’t think very fast, I often get stupid ... in general, I’m not the fastest cowboy in the Wild West, so the low (as they say) entrance threshold to the web began to be considered as a chance. I'm not familiar with anything other than C++\Qt and a bit of HTML\CSS. Age is no longer the youngest - 29. Is it worth investing in web or mobile application development? Where is more promising in terms of demand + salary + career growth? And will a 30-year-old junior be interesting there ..? .. Should I "twitch" or gain more experience with Qt\C++? I apologize for the stupid questions..

PS Uncertainty in terms of further work with C ++ \ Qt I connect with the fact that I'm afraid there will not be enough "thinkers", although it may not be enough in other directions, I understand .. plus one more thing ... most of those who were interested in my resume are state .offices behind the PO-2 fence. , enterprises, factories). I gave these offices more than 6 years of my life and continue to give them ...... this, of course, is secondary, but I'm a little tired of watching obituaries at the checkpoint and barbed wire every day))

Thank you for reading a lot of letters :)
