What are the players for online radio?

In the last year and a half I got hooked on online radio, got a list of my radio stations with my favorite music. Now, having played with old radios, I realized that online radio requires too many gestures (everything is known in comparison, yeah), so I want to reduce everything to the fact that I plugged the speakers into a socket and the radio immediately plays.
Possible solutions:
Software:
PC - we throw the player from the radio into autoload, set up combinations for control from the wireless keyboard, standard media keys, a combination of an emergency restart of the player, combinations for saving the name of the current song to a file.
Identified problems - the PC does not know how to turn on automatically, it is necessary to collective farm or each time you poke the button with your hand, the PC loads for a minute, the PC eats electricity.
Laptop - all PC problems, + bluetooth pairing (the laptop is in the next room from the speakers) with audio devices through the console in Linux, the chot is not performed (the bt-audio command is missing), I’m generally silent about Windows, there bluetooth automation is impossible in principle, but if load the laptop first, and then turn on the speakers on the network, everything is paired automatically in both Windows and Linux, but this is inconvenient.
Android smartphone (it should be noted that I don’t use a smartphone on a regular basis, and I don’t have the habit of always carrying it with me and sticking it into it, the button suits me) - using Tasker, we auto turn on Bluetooth / Wi-Fi and start the player when power supply/shutdown when power is off.
Identified problems - it is not possible to manage Wi-Fi even through the Secure Settings plugin (the problem of a specific device), the eternal recharge of the battery and the waste of its resource.
Android (TV set-top box / over-the-top tablet) - with Autoruns No Root, the player opens a couple of minutes after loading, the root has not yet been received.
Hardware:
The wolna module is a little expensive and not available for sale.
HFI220 - expensive, low-quality Wi-Fi module and sound, setting only through a personal account on the manufacturer's website.
Digital Ocean receivers are expensive and have many extra features.
Self-assembly of a device based on Orange Pi (project):
Basic functions:
OS - Raspbian or other Linux-Based.
Player with radio stations in autorun.
We hang the following buttons on the GPIO: previous station, next station, volume +/-, play / pause, possibly save the current track.
rootfs is mounted to Read Only by default to extend the life of the SD card/failsafe.
Additional functions:
It is possible to mount in the case of an old radio receiver, and use the built-in amplifier and speaker (activate the function with a separate toggle switch), as well as power from the built-in battery.
As an option, you can consider control using a wireless mouse (buttons switch stations, the wheel - volume / pause).
Connecting the Wi-Fi module to the USB port for wireless radio operation.
Connecting flash drives with auto-mounting and playing music from them (we add a network / USB switch button to the GPIO, which will set the playlist to the player).
Video output and use the set-top box in TV-Box mode (and actually, why not?).
Remote control from an old zombie (well, we have an infrared port).
Management via web interface.
Streaming music from a laptop/smartphone via Wi-Fi.
Should I go to the last option? Or are there any other solutions?
PS Tell me, what software is better to use for the last option, so that it would be universal but reliable.

I can say how I solved this issue for myself, and I really like it.
A tablet, from which the battery is removed from sin, in a bracket screwed to the wall. Works around the clock. When necessary, it plays online radio (software for Android is enough) or Yandex music (via HDMI output to the receiver). When not needed, it works as a photo frame during the day and for hours with huge dim numbers at night.

@IgorPie

we have a raspberry/orange pi at work as a print server with an online radio radio
URL is sent via http , but a simple web interface or hard buttons is also possible.

to choose from: bluetooth AUX adapter (it costs 200 rubles on alik), bluetooth speakers, bluetooth soundbar.
Everything else is a bike! I myself once made from raspberry and mpd (when DI playlists could be obtained), and now the phone + Yandex.radio (there is a shutdown timer) + bluetooth speakers
