Is it possible that static electricity is causing the phone's touch screen to click randomly?

It seems to me that the phone is electrified when in your pocket, is it possible? Case complete silicone, phone Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s.

Maybe, but there will be nothing from pressing if it is blocked. Moreover, I have a note 8T, and there in the settings there is "prevent pressing in my pocket" (or something like that), it somehow determines what is in my pocket, and even unlocked is not pressed (in theory), in practice sometimes pressed. The cover is also complete silicone.

Is the screen clean? Maybe heavily smeared? I noticed this behavior with a greasy spot on the screen, or if a drop of water gets in.

Probably not in the topic, but just in case I will write.
Once the tablet alone began to behave in the same way - spontaneous chaotic "clicks" on the screen. The reason was the battery, which began to swell and put pressure on the screen from the back. As soon as he warmed up a little more in the process of work, the pressure intensified, and a pandemonium began on the screen. After replacing the tablet, it still worked happily.
