What are the pitfalls when dealing with recurring payments in PayPal?

What are the requirements and guidelines for issuing and making recurring payments in paypal?
For example: how should the user be informed that the payment he is going to make is recurrent, or what will happen if the user does not have a bank card linked? What pitfalls might arise?
In general, I'm interested in how to protect yourself from account blocking as much as possible.
The topic of "authorized payments" is also interesting. That is, the creation of a payment token in order to carry out debits in the future if necessary. I know that there is something similar, but I don’t know how to google it, so I would be grateful if you poke your nose.

It depends very much on the country. The rules are very different. What country is the company registered in?
In most cases, the maximum you can count on is a subscription, and no payment tokens.
If the card is not linked, the payment will not go through, and you can receive a notification about this
