What are the pitfalls when buying a Lenovo laptop in the US?

Friends are going on a trip to the United States and, in principle, are ready to bring a laptop. True, they are very active travelers and they do not stay in one city for more than two days. I was also interested in this model from the official Lenovo store.
The questions so far are the following (maybe I forgot):

1. Сколько обычно занимает доставка из оффициального store Lenovo? Может есть ускоренный вариант за доп. плату? Или как-то можно организовать передержку заказа пока знакомые не приедут на место? Т.е. как все это состыковать. Есть ли оффлайн магазины Lenovo с теми же ценами, что на сайте?
   
2. Какие возможно проблемы с оплатой? Много раз слышал, что российские карточки не принимаются. Обязательно ли нужна выпущенная в США или можно обойтись каким-нибудь PayPal?
   
3. Как с гарантией? Покрывает ли эту модель IWS? Можно ли перевести локальную гарантию, н-р, на Россию без потери IWS? Есть ли ограничения по странам/регионам, н-р, действует ли в Юго-Восточной Азии?
   
4. The price is already attractive, but can you still somehow save money? On the site for some models there is a certain "Instant saving", although I still do not understand what this means. Somewhere else I saw information that Lenovo often gives out promotional codes and the like. And will you have to pay sales tax when buying through their store?

1) when ordering, they will show, up to 14 days, up to 3x accelerated, order directly to the hotel during the trip, warn the hotel
2) of course, everything that is non-standard, the antifraud will throw away. Most likely, they will reject non-US cards - they don’t need potential payment recalls, a lot of trouble, maximum - country cards to which one and delivery
3) covers, but you figure it out, coverage is usually - "where they sold, they served it", in The USA will wait for it for service and will wait
3) this is marketing, such as "you always buy for so much, but if right now it's cheaper", "right now" is usually constant, but for decency it can change monthly for models and amounts
