What are the options for signing user EDS files via WEB UI?

Tell me, the direction, the essence of the task: to sign the user's EDS file in WEB UI, I thought to use js from cryptopro.
The server sends the hash of the file to the user, on the client we sign using cryptopro,js and send the signature to the server.
Maybe there are more options for signing files. In the open spaces) they still talk about stunnel, is it suitable for these purposes or not? Thank you!
