Monetization

What are the options for monetizing a link shortening service?

Good hour!
Looking for tips and useful ideas, not for free . We have made a simple (for now) link shortening service.
It already knows how to make short links, and if you register, then give out primitive statistics on clicks on them (devices, browsers, days of the week, OS).

Now we are thinking about further development (the nearest ones are browser plugins, detailed reporting, referral routing by geo/platform/device type) and would appreciate active brainstorming on the following issues:

  • What monetization options are relevant for such a service?
  • What should we add?
  • What do you lack in existing services?
  • By the way, which ones do you use? What do you like/dislike?

For sound ideas, we give away paid accounts (which will appear in the near future).

If you have an IT audience or something like that, then a link shortening service may come in.
It's such a dubious idea.
*I mean a couple of hundred thousand people to whom you can tell about your service.
You can monetize advertising - teaser, adsense. - but it's a shitty service in the end.

I'm afraid there are not so many options for monetization, one of them is advertising. I myself use vk.cc, simply because my hand was full of typing sharply into the address bar of the browser. Usability is fine. Do not overload the project with advertising.

Can I give non-primitive statistics on planned accounts?
