What are the options for 3D object scanning?

Interested in what opportunities exist for scanning objects. Size - from small (1x1 meter) to medium (approx., passenger car). Accuracy is not yet essential.

The cheapest option is competent shooting with a DSLR and processing in software.
Agisoft Photoscan - paid, easy to use.
Libraries OpenMVG + OpenMVS - free, open source, but you need to figure it out and customize it for yourself.
