What are the nuances when migrating a server with OpenVZ virtualization to a server with KVM virtualization? What is the easiest way to implement?

I needed the tun module, which the hoster includes only for servers with KVM virtualization. Tell me how you can carefully transfer the server on your own, saving the settings, data and users. How will Clonezilla help me? What problems can occur during the transfer and what should be paid attention to. Thanks

The nuance is that without access to the dom0 host, you will not succeed. Or at least without access to boot from live-iso images.
You need to copy / (required with --numeric-ids), install the kernel and grub, then cut out all sorts of openvz crutches from the guest system.
And, well, you can also copy the container to a separate folder and run all the necessary software in chroot-e.
