What are the modern ways of distributing e-books on IT topics?
For example, I want to write some book on IT topics and I hope to try to make money from it. Do I understand correctly that going to negotiate with a publishing house about the circulation and distribution of a paper book is the last century - the costs are too high and it is too difficult to distribute paper copies.
The question arises - how is it customary to do now? Are there any electronic publishers? What do you need to start distributing the book through them. Just write it down and send it to them? What percentage do they take for themselves and is it possible to somehow earn money on this?

I prefer paper versions. But I buy both paper and electronic. At home I read on paper, not at home - on the phone.
Paper nifiga is not the last century. You really are.
It is unrealistic to make money on electronic ones alone. After the first purchase will be on torrents.

kdp.amazon.com or iBook Author, leanpub is good.
I stopped reading paper books completely. Probably 4 years since he stopped. It's stupidly inconvenient with it, the font cannot be adjusted, you can't stock up on bookmarks, etc.
At one time I started making vlib.co, but after I saw leanpub, I realized that the idea was not very sensible, there were a lot of problems with copyright.
If you can, write a book in English. You will earn more.
IMHO it is better to sell a paper one, since the first person who buys an e-book will merge it into torrents. And you still need to scan the paper one)) In general, in the Russian Federation it will be very difficult for you to fight piracy.
Of course, here is the most ideal option to immediately make an English version of the book and sell it on amazone, google.play and the AppStore...
