What are the libraries for recognizing qr and barcodes?

Good day.
There is a need to build a scanner for barcodes and qr codes into the application, while the option with intent'om in another application (hello ZXing) and scanning through it disappears. Having rummaged through Google, I found nothing but answers for the period 2011-2017.
The question is, is there a modern library that can be built into an application without a headache (or with a little)?
Somewhere I saw some information that Google rolled out something, but in hot pursuit did not find anything. I am friends with English, I will not refuse links to tutorials and / or documentation.

You can use the ML Kit - the same thing that Google rolled out.
